Moose Hound (Unknown Type) Young Male in Medfield, Massachusetts

My story
Moose is the sweetest, cutest and goofiest young dog (he is going to be two next month). He was recently given up due to his owners getting a divorce. He loves to run and play in between handing out lots of kisses. He is good on the leash and loves to go for walks and seems to know some commands. We took him in from another shelter and he was well-behaved on the car ride to Medfield. We'll post better pictures and more information as we get to know him. He weighs 44 lbs., so is a very nice size.

Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
